UrTeam is operated by Irbis Tech s.r.o., based in Prague, Czech Republic. We provide the Services to users worldwide, including users located in the European Economic Area (EEA). For the purposes of data protection law, Irbis Tech s.r.o. acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Services. This Privacy Policy is provided in English. Account, Profile, and User Activity

When you create an UrTeam account, we collect information necessary to set up and manage your account and provide access to the Services. In addition, we collect information about how you use the Services, such as viewing events or teams, interacting with other users, and engaging with features of the platform. Where relevant, this may include contextual data such as dates, times, and general location associated with events or activities you interact with.

Location Information

UrTeam may collect and process location-related information when you use the Services. Location information is used primarily to support features related to events, such as displaying event locations, helping users discover nearby events, or associating events and activities with a specific place.

UrTeam does not continuously track your precise device location in the background. Location information is collected only when you actively use location-related features of the Services or when you voluntarily provide location data, for example by selecting a city, entering an address, or allowing location access for specific functionality.

You can control or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Please note that limiting location access may affect certain features of the Services that rely on location information.

Content You Share

UrTeam collects information from the content you choose to share through the Services. This includes content such as photos, posts, comments, messages, reactions, and other materials you submit or publish when using UrTeam.

We collect this information when you interact with other users, participate in events, communicate within teams, post updates, upload images, or otherwise contribute content to the Services. Third-Party Accounts

UrTeam may allow you to create an account or sign in to the Services using third-party authentication services, such as Apple or Google ("Third-Party Accounts"). When you choose to sign in this way, we receive certain information from the third-party provider that is necessary to create and manage your UrTeam account.

The information we receive may include details such as your name, email address, and basic profile information, depending on the third-party service and your privacy settings with that provider. This information is collected by the third-party provider and shared with UrTeam in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You can control what information is shared with UrTeam by adjusting the privacy and consent settings in your Third-Party Account. If you prefer, you may also choose to sign up for UrTeam without using a Third-Party Account, where available.

Technical Information and Log Data

When you access or use the Services, UrTeam automatically collects certain technical information from your device. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

The technical information we collect may include:

We use the information we collect to enable core functionality of UrTeam, including allowing you to:

Create, join, and manage teams and events: Including organizing events, participating in events, responding to invitations, and viewing event details.
Interact with other users: For example, by communicating with other users, sharing content, participating in team discussions, and engaging with event-related features.
Discover relevant events and teams: Such as showing events based on selected location, time, or other relevant criteria.
Personalize your experience: Including displaying relevant content, remembering preferences, and improving usability based on how the Services are used.

UrTeam does not currently display third-party advertisements or use tracking technologies for targeted advertising. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and any required choices or consents will be provided.

We use information we collect to help keep UrTeam safe and to enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and applicable rules. This includes detecting, preventing, and addressing misuse of the Services, such as spam, abusive behavior, or other violations.

UrTeam does not permit service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes. If we introduce additional services in the future, such as payment processing or promotional tools, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Certain information you share on UrTeam may be visible to other users, depending on how you use the Services and the context in which information is shared. For example, your username, profile information, and content you post may be visible to members of a team or participants in an event you join.

UrTeam does not make user profiles or content publicly available on the open internet by default. Information is generally shared only within the Services and only with other users, according to the nature of the feature (such as teams or events) and any applicable privacy or visibility settings.

You may have options to control how your information is shared within UrTeam, such as limiting who can view certain content or interact with you. We encourage you to review and adjust available settings to ensure they align with your preferences and comfort level.

UrTeam is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before connecting it to UrTeam or sharing information through it.

UrTeam does not automatically share your content or activity with external social networks. If you choose to share information or content outside of the Services using third-party platforms, such sharing is subject to the privacy controls and policies of those platforms.

Aggregated and De-Identified Information

UrTeam may aggregate and de-identify information collected through the Services so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. This aggregated or de-identified information may be used to understand how the Services are used, to improve features, and to support internal reporting and analysis.

Examples may include high-level statistics about event participation, team activity, feature usage, or general trends across the platform. Aggregated information is used in a way that does not identify individual users.

UrTeam does not publicly release detailed datasets or maps derived from user activity. If aggregated information is shared outside UrTeam, it is shared only in a form that does not reasonably identify any individual user.

Business Transfers and Corporate Changes

UrTeam may share or transfer personal information in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate change. In such cases, personal data would remain subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

UrTeam does not currently operate through subsidiaries. If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

UrTeam may send service-related or administrative communications that are necessary to provide the Services, such as account verification messages, security alerts, important updates, or changes to our policies. These communications are not optional, as they are required for the operation and security of the Services.

You are responsible for providing a valid and up-to-date email address to ensure that you receive important service-related communications.

Updating Account Information

You may review, correct, or update your account and profile information at any time through your account settings. This allows you to keep your personal information accurate and up to date. If you are unable to update certain information or need assistance, you may contact UrTeam support.

Deleting Your Account and Your Data

You may request deletion of your UrTeam account through the available account settings or by contacting support. When an account deletion request is processed, your personal data associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable law.

Please note that deletion may not be immediate and may take a reasonable period of time to complete, including removal from backups and system logs. In certain cases, we may retain limited information where required to comply with legal obligations or to protect the rights and safety of UrTeam and its users.

Information you have shared with other users (for example, messages or content posted within teams or events) may remain visible to those users after your account is deleted, but will no longer be associated with your active account.

UrTeam does not currently provide a self-service data export feature. If you wish to access your personal data, you may contact us, and we will respond in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Children's Privacy

UrTeam is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you are under 13, you must not use the Services.

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, UrTeam may apply additional safeguards for users under the age of 18. Where age information is collected, it may be used to help ensure compliance with minimum age requirements and to limit access to certain features where appropriate.

If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child under the applicable minimum age without valid consent, we will take steps to delete such information as required by law.
